38. 2 (25 mg) was added, then the reaction mixture was stirred for 20 h at 85 °C under reflux. The reaction progress was monitored by TLC. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was filtered and the heterogeneous catalyst was recovered. The solution was then concentrated to afford a solid product, which was purified by recrystallization from aqueous EtOH (15%).
