This study evaluated the effect of different and temperatures of infused saline on bladder pressure measurements, and reported that the bladder transmits IAP only with saline between 50 and 100 ml. Moreover, infusion of a saline at room temperature caused a higher bladder pressure, likely because of contraction of the detrusor bladder muscle.
