    • The origin of the observed traps is hardly attributable to the delayed dissociation (i.e. detrapping) of the coulombically bound photogenerated geminate pairs, because the latters should live at least for 1 μs before dissociation in order to be resolved in our experiment; in fact, we are sensitive to 1 μs long release times at best, being the scanning frequency range 10 Hz to 1 MHz. However, 1 μs is a lifetime too long for both singlet excitons [M. Pope, C.E. Swenberg, Electronic Processes in Organic Crystals and Polymers, 2nd ed., 928 (1999)] and triplet excitons, at least in presence of a heavy metal (Pd in our case) that improves intersystem crossing to the ground singlet exciton. [M.A. Baldo, S. Lamansky, P.E. Burrows, M.E. Thompson, S.R. Forrest, Appl. Phys. Lett. 75 (1999) 4].
