    • Although it is difficult to classify an athermal material as either strong or fragile, we view hard sphere interactions as a limit of sharp repulsion. Dense fluids of sharply repulsive particles, perhaps the best description of nonattractive colloidal suspensions, do exhibit the super-Arrhenius temperature dependence defining fragile glass-formers.
