    • We note that in the single-molecule SERS experiments in addition to intensity fluctuations, frequency fluctuations are usually observed (see, e.g., Ref. [3]). These fluctuations were much less pronounced compared with the intensity fluctuations in Ref. [1]. These large intensity fluctuations are the focus of our work.
