Our previous study indicated that the ultimate oxidation state of the Pan film after being electrochemically forced at 0.7 V (vs SCE) in a nonaqueous solution (e.g, 0.5 M LiCIO4 in CH3CN) was highly dependent on its original oxidation state. After the forcing treatment, an EB Pan film will be converted into its PB form, while an LB Pan film will be converted into its EB form
