In addition to various local programs for the CDC 6400 computer, local modifications of the following programs were employed: Hamilton’s G0N09 absorption program; Zalkin’s FORDAP Fourier program; the Busing-Levy ORFFE error function program; and Johnson’s ORTEP thermal ellipsoid plotting program. Our local least-squares program NUCLS, in its nongroup form, closely resembles the Busing-Levy ORFLS program.
