In order to assure reproducibility of our experimental results: first, we determined the region inside the microwave oven, where the heating was maximum. This was done by recording the temperatures with an infrared thermometer of various water samples placed in it. Once, we located the exact area of maximum heating, we placed the sample every time at the same place. Each experiment was performed at least a couple of times with consistent results. Therefore, we feel that these experiments can be repeated in a domestic microwave oven following this procedure
