    • A more complete analysis of RG’s one-dimensional model which properly accounts for the coupling of temperature and pressure variations (including appropriate boundary conditions) does predict a finite photoacoustic signal at zero frequency (see Ref. 8); however, the frequency predicted for the saturation of the photoacoustic signal is much lower than that observed. It may be that a three-dimensional model is necessary to explain the observed saturation effect.
