7. This type of assembly could, in principle, be integrated into a pigtailed unit.
8. This is probably an aliasing effect: The closed-loop feedback system (including the lasers) has a resonance near 31 Hz, which could cause real timing jitter at the same frequency. This would be undersampled by the 34-Hz sampling rate of the correlator, causing a spurious signal near 3 Hz.
