Aspects of the ecology of broom (Cytisus scoparius) in Canterbury, New Zealand
-
This study formed part of Ming Kang's postdoctoral work at the University of Queensland and Adelaide University, funded by a 1-year Chinese Academy of Sciences fellowship. Ming Kang's research focuses on ecological and evolutionary genetics of plants. Yvonne Buckley works on the ecology of invasive species from population to landscape scales and also on the applied aspects of invasive species ecology: management and impact. She holds a joint position at the University of Queensland and CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems. Andrew Lowe's research concerns the spatial, temporal and organismal dynamics of gene flow, with particular consideration of the evolutionary, ecological and conservation outcomes. He holds a joint position between the University of Adelaide, where he is Professor of Plant Conservation Biology, and the State Herbarium and Bioknowledge group in the South Australian Department for Environment and Heritage, where he is Head of Science.
