    • The initial fast decay for times shorter than 10 μs is not due to bimolecular annihilation, given that it does not depend on excitation intensity for the excitation conditions used here. More likely, the decay is due to thermal population of triplet subleveis, as has been observed in iridium complexes. See: Kobayashi, T.; Ide, N.; Matsusue, N.; Naito, H. Jpn. J. Appl.
