    • The DOS for the four-sited ring with nearest neighbor hopping t = 1 exhibits a three-peaked structure at the poles - 2, 0 and 2, whose weights are 1/4, 1/2 and 1/4. The spectrum of the 4 × 4 square has five poles at ± 4, ± 2, and 0, with corresponding weights 1/10, 2/10 and 4/10. At the same time, the widths of the spectra are the same for the square lattice and the 4-site square depending only on the number of neighbors of a site.
