8. The peels of M. sapientum L. were collected in Guangxi province in September 2004. The plants were identified by Professor Li Ping, the Department of Pharmacognosy, China Pharmaceutical University. A voucher specimen (QH20040918) was deposited in the laboratory of the School of Pharmacy, China Pharmaceutical University.
