    • Surprisingly, using my approach of self-demotion to confront the lowest level clerks in an establishmeut usually brings me face-to-face with their highest official much faster than trying to approach the official myself (as in Michael Moore's Roger and Me). By demoting myself to a low-level clerk, in my own self-inflicted bureaucracy, I create a situation that the clerks cannot deal with, so they bring me their managers right away. I do not need to write endless unanswered letters and wait for hours on hold. I mirror the organization upon itself to get them to bring me their top official very quickly. S.
