Dunn LB, Palmer BW, Appelbaum PS, et al. Prevalence and correlates of adequate performance on a measure of abilities related to decisional capacity: differences among three standards for the MacCAT-CR in patients with schizophrenia. Schizophr Res 2007; 89:110-118. Studies the relationship of the three subscales of the MacCAT-CR and tries to develop an algorithm. The lack of covariance of the three subscales and the short rank of the appreciation and reasoning subscales, however, make it difficult to integrate the three elements.
