We note that our definition of the Drude weight does not recover the triangular lattice symmetry at t′, t. The definition covers the square lattice symmetry and is suitable for our study, since we here focus on the anisotropic cases with t′ < t including the square lattice at t′, 0

The insulating BC dependence does not necessarily mean that the ground state is unique in the thermodynamic limit since we only consider the same BC for up and down spins, which cannot detect the degeneracy of states with different total spin. In order to study the degeneracy in total spin, which is expected, for example, in the antiferromagnetic state, we have to change BC of up and down spins separately, which is beyond the scope of this paper
