For p-TCPP with one bound carboxyl group the approximate height from the TiO2 surface was taken as the distance from C1 to the midpoint of O1 and O2 and the diameter as the distance from O3 to O4. For p-TCPP with two bound carboxyl groups, the approximate height from the TiO2 surface was taken as the distance from the midpoint of C1 and C2 to the midpoint of O1 and O2 and the diameter as the distance from O3 to O4. For the meta-substituted porphyrins the height was taken as the distance from the plane of the porphyrin to the plane defined by the four oxygens O1-O4.
