    • This principle was used in the Trail Smelter Case between Canada and the USA. See Trail Smelter Arbitration (United States v. Canada) [1941] 3 R.I.A.A. 1907. The no-significant-harm principle is also included in the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Non-Navigable Uses of International Watercourses (New York, 21 May)
