    • In contrast to T1-1 for Cu, T1-1 for O is consistent with a Korringa rate or at best with a b term which, appropriately normalized, is only case 1 over 6 of that for Cu. [M. Takigawa (private communication); R. Walstedt (private communication)]. This behavior can only be obtained from a appropriate q vec dependence of P̃. As mentioned earlier, if a smooth function of q vec multiplies Eq. (1), none of the results discussed here are altered. Discussion of the differences between T1-1 for O and Cu requires a detailed microscopic theory for P̃ for Cu-O metals.
