Homo and copolymerization experiments were achieved under inert atmosphere in the presence of 2,2′-azobis(2-methylpropionitrile) (AIBN) (2% molar/C{double bond, long}C) in toluene at 75 °C or in refluxing THF. Polymerization reactions were quenched by adding the parent alcohol. After quenching, the material was washed with toluene in order to remove PS. The resulting solid was separated by centrifugation and dried under vacuum.
