The KLN had eighteen members at the time of the implementation of the grant. It currently has seventeen members. Point Park left the consortium in August 2005 after that University's Information Technology Department received funding to purchase and operate its own library server. Point Park's library director, Elizabeth Evans, stated recently in an e-mail to the KLN coordinator to be shared with Cataloging & Classification Quarterly that "During the KLN membership, Point Park University Library benefited from being able to participate in the Authority Control project, enabling a much needed higher level of accessibility to its collection."

Point Park's spring break was a week earlier than the rest, so Endeavor reloaded their database during their break. Point Park utilized their OPAC in view-only mode while the rest were being reloaded.

LTI's copy of a library's database must be kept current so that when bibliographic records with updated headings are returned to the library, they contain all changes made by the library subsequent to base file cleanup. Otherwise, those changes will be lost.
