There have been recent suggestions6 that C-H bonds might be a little stronger than those measured earlier.2 This question is by no means settled, but, if true, upward revision would be required by at most 2 kcal mol-1 for D(C2H6-H), D(i-Pr-H), and D(t-Bu-H), on the limit of the margin of the earlier uncertainty.
