All electrochemical experiments were performed using a CH Instruments 620A electrochemical workstation. The electrolyte solution (0.1 M) was prepared from recrystallized NaCl and distilled water. A three electrode configuration was used with a Pt disc working electrode, a Ag/AgCl reference electrode and a platinum wire as the counter electrode. The solution was vigorously purged with nitrogen prior to recording the electrochemical data. All voltammetry measurements were recorded under a nitrogen atmosphere.
