40. 2O (200 mg) was ground in a pestle and subjected to microwave irradiation (Table 2). After completion of the reaction as evidenced by TLC analysis, the crude product was subjected to column chromatography using petroleum ether/EtOAc (8:2) as eluent. The cycloadduct 4a was obtained exclusively.
