35. A rigorous proof for this fact was attempted in Ref. for bulk conformal theories, where it was claimed that all eigenvalues except the largest one increase with increasing block size. This is not valid, as one can see from the exact solution for the XX model, which shows that the second largest eigenvalue first increases with before it starts decreasing.
