PtK2 cells attached to a coverslip were cultured overnight with the taxol derivative 4 (1 μM), washed twice with phosphate buffered saline, mounted without fixation in 0.13M glycine buffer pH 8.6, 0.20 M NaCl, 70% glycerol, and observed.
