11. Expert guidance was provided by facilitators, members of ‘The Thinktank’, a service offered by the foundation ‘KIM-circle’: a network of higher educated young. All members have had training at polytechnic or university level and most of them have professional experience in SMEs. These facilitators can be hired to help an organisation solve its problems. All members have regular jobs (they should have no ties to the organisation that hires them, in order to have an open mind). The sessions were organised together with the companies and always contained the elements: warming up, assignees presentation of the problem, brainstorming, clustering, analysis, assessment, in-depth analysis, approach and evaluation. The product of the sessions is always a tangible approach as a starting point to further elaborate on the solutions found.
