3. "β-TCP size" means the size of β-TCP grain assembly which corresponds to the starting powders. For instance. β-TCP composed of a few hundred grains shows a black contrast in Fig. 2(b). On the other hand, each β-TCP grain can he seen due to grain boundary grooving in a high magnification image of Fig. 2(a).
