PMMA5 and PMMA10 copolymers are mainly composed of racemic dyads (Table 1); most anhydride groups should thus have racemic stereoconfigurations. The reaction is not limited by the tacticity of the polymer but is faster in case of the isotactic polymers (ref 16).
