    • ω(F) = 0.064 by using 3165 absorption corrected reflections with I≥5σ(I). Statistic disorder was observed between Mn and W atoms on two metallic sites. The refinements of the occupancy factors converge to a a value of 0.5. Then, a fictious atom called Z corresponding to 50% contribution of Mn and 50% of W was introduced in the refinements. It will be noted that this disorder was observed when the refinements were conducted in the noncentrosymmetric space group Im. Further details of the crystal structure determination may be obtained from the Fachinformationszentrum Karlsruhe, D‐76344 Eggenstein‐Leopoldshafen (Germany), on quoting the depository number CSD‐58931.

    • This partial disorder is not due to the symmetry center of the group I2/m. In fact, this disorder remains when the structure is refined in the noncentrosymmetric group Im, in which the two metal sites are not equivalent.

    • + salts are isostructural exhibiting a cubic lattice with a = 17.6–17.7 Å. Probably in nonaqueous solution the polyanions are also present as discrete species, and only when the lattice is formed the Mn complex polymerizes.
