    • A very small anomaly in M(B) of HSF was reported as a spin flop transition using a cantilever magnetometer [S. Gider, D.D. Awschalom, T. Douglas, S. Mann, M. Chaparala, Science 268 (1995) 77]. The lack of sensitivity in our own measurements precludes observation of such a small anomaly. However, in a later publication, proper normalization of the data to 27 T using an RF SQUID indicated no discontinuity in M(B) [S. Gider, D. D. Awschalom, T. Douglas, K.Wong, S. Mann, G. Cain, J. Appl. Phys. 79 (1996) 5324].
