The classical relativistic equation of motion of the polarization vector Sμ in a homogeneous external electromagnetic field is given by the Bargmann, Michel, Telegdi or BMT equation dSμdτ=eg2mFμνSν+e2m(g-2) dxμdτFνλSνdxλdτ which simplifies for g=2 independent of the spin of the particle. However, this is not at the same level as the quantum arguments given above.
