16. As in Eq. 14, a relative increase of Tc due to quenched disorder results from variations not of l but of Δ, in contrast to the argument by Mineev and Zhitomirsky [cond-mat/0502549 (unpublished)]. According to ΔFsym, Eq. 16, which vanishes at Tc, it is difficult to understand the lowering of PCP in aerogel based only on the l's pinning via the aerogel.
17. Just before this manuscript had been accepted for publication, we were aware of two preprints by G. E. Volovik [cond-mat/0505281 (unpublished)] and C. L. Vincente [cond-mat/0504792 (unpublished)], in which roughly the same conclusions as ours were shown on the A-like phase.
