    • Other measurements in the literature are in general agreement with those presented in Fig. 1 or have been superseded by later measurements conducted by the same research group (20, 35, 36). In particular, the results of Chelf et al. (36) have been superseded by those of Hung et al. (20), which are in excellent agreement with those of Wise et al. (11) for the mean temperature of ice formation. Those of Prenni et al. (12) for ammonium sulfate have been superseded by those of Wise et al. (11).
