    • The highest concentration (1.0 mM) of 6-PAA used in this study was almost close to its saturated concentration in the media used and thus no data in higher concentrations were available. When a stronger proton-donor (acid) is present in higher concentration, the chemiluminescence of MCLA would be depressed to a larger degree. The quantitative details concerning this have not been clarified yet.
