15. Of particular note is that (+)-axisonitrile-3 (1a) and (-)-10-epi-axisonitrile-3 (2a) were isolated from the same organism (Ref. 8a) and have the opposite stereochemistry at all centers except position C-10, which retains the S absolute stereochemistry.
