note
-
For example, the 'anti-fascist' magazine Searchlight's DVD, The BNP Unmasked, used in campaigning for the 2006 local elections, states on its cover that it 'proves they are the same Nazis they always were'. The BNP has replied by smearing Searchlight, for example claiming on its web page on 3 May 2006 that the organisation was founded by 'East London Jewish Marxists', and that 'the spiritual father of the 62 Group (from which Searchlight sprang), Harry Bidney had convictions for living on immoral earnings of prostitutes, and had a liking for young boys'.
