    • After submission of this review, a MD simulation study was reported in which, for the first time, methane hydration as well as methane association were simulated in a polarizable aqueous phase. Interestingly, the authors found that the solvent‐separated arrangement almost disappeared when the polarization term was incorporated into the water potential. See
