    • Recently, Posner decribed that surface chemistry/morphology and control of moisture content within the molecular sieves proved to be extremely significant variables for asymmetric Diels-Alder cycloadditions catalyzed by a chiral titanium complex. Thus, an increase in enantioselectivity with increasing sieve hydration has been observed [35a]. Such an observation has been also reported in a catalyzed palladium cyclization of cis-1,2divinylcyclohexane [35b]
