7. 4-benzoyl-2′,3′-dideoxycytidine the reduction of the azido derivative by polymer-bound triphenylphosphane failed. However, using dithipthreitol in the presence of DMAP, azidocytidine is quantitatively transformed to the amino derivative. Protecting groups of the exocyclic amino function are stable under these conditions.
