Feshbach, Methods of Theoretical Physics (McGraw-Hill, New York, 1953); In this paper, we adopt the Onsager nomenclature; a thermodynamic system is in a nonlinear regime when the flows are not linearly related to the thermodynamic forces. Therefore, the term "regime" used by Onsager in thermodynamics should not be confused with the same term, used in plasma physics, to characterize the transport regimes, i.e., the Banana, Plateau, and Pfirsch-Schlüter regimes; A rigorous derivation of Eq. (46), obtained by applying the tetrad formalism, can be found in Ref. 14; In literature, the harmonic coordinate system are coordinates satisfying the hyperbolic P.D.E., written in a covariant form. Here, for harmonic coordinate system, we indicate the coordinate system satisfying the elliptic P.D.E., written in a covariant form; This aspect has been suggested and discussed with U. Finzi of the European Commission, Research Directorate-General.
