Access at home was 89% amongst Internet users in 2003 and 93% in 2005; access at work amongst Internet users grew from 28% to 33%; access at another person's home grew from 10% to 25%; public library access grew from 5% to 10%; school or university access grew from 13% to 15%.

Access through a telephone line has decreased slightly between 2003 and 2005 from 92% to 87%. On the other hand, access through cable television system has grown from 7% to 12%; access through mobile phone or PDA has grown from 5% to 10% and wireless connection has grown from 1% to 5%.

All the results presented here were tested with multivariate statistical analysis techniques, i.e. logistic regression models, which allow one to test the effect of an explanatory variable on the dependent variable by controlling for the effect of the other explanatory variables in the model.
