    • The polycrystalline 20 nm Fe film is sputtered by an Kauffman ion source in ultrahigh vacuum. The sample structure is 20 nm Fe/ 5 nm W/ Si(100). The film exhibits a (100) texture. The Ni films are electron beam evaporated in ultrahigh vacuum. The polycrystalline Ni film layer structure is 3 nm Cu/ Ni/ 5 nm Cu/ Si(100) with varied Ni thickness. The third set of samples used 1.2 is a Ni wedge 0-150 nm. Here the sample, structure is 2 nm Al/ 0-150 nm Ni/ Si(100).
