    • The mere equivalence of the partition functions of the two models (1), (2) or (7), (8) would of course not be sufficient to ensuce the equivalence of their correlation functions, too. On the other hand, the proof for the equivalence of the partition functions given in the appendix does not rely on the actual form of the unperturbed part of the d-subsystem. This in turn allows to include couplings of external fields to the d-subsystem. In this sense the partition functions may serve as generating functionals for the correlation functions in the standard way and their equivalence may be extended to that of the correlation functions
