    • The octanol/water partition coefficient expressed in logarithmic form (CLOGP) has been widely used for calculating drug lipophilicity. It is usually calculated from the sum of the partition coefficients of the chemical fragments composing the molecule. Software-predicted lipophilicity of the compounds was calculated with the CLOGP program accessible via the Internet (www.daylight.com/daycgi/clogp) working with Hansch-Leo's "fragment constant" method.
