    • Conclusive evidence for the structure of this ligand was provided by an X-ray structure of the mono-copper(II) derivative (Chartres, J. D.; Davies, M. S.; Lindoy, L. F.; Meehan, G. V.; Steel, P. J. Unpublished results). While the high R-factor of the structure renders it unsuitable for publication, it unequivocally shows the proposed connectivity of the ligand.
