    • Origin of pollen and spores in surface lake sediments: Comparison of modern palynomorph assemblages in moss cushions, surface soils and surface lake sediments
    • The authors are all based at the University of Auckland. Yanbin Deng is a palynologist interested in Holocene vegetation history of New Zealand, the interaction between vegetation change and past climate variation, and estuarine wetland vegetation succession. Mark Horrocks is a plant microfossil analyst specializing in the reconstruction of late Quaternary environments in New Zealand. He is currently researching archaeological landscapes. John Ogden is an Associate Professor of forest ecology. His research interests are the palaeoecology of the New Zealand vegetation, conservation, forest dynamics, fire histories, dendrochronology, climate change, the impact of human settlement and ecosystem conservation. Sandra Anderson is a field ecologist. Her current research interests are plant-animal interactions, particularly those involving pollination and seed dispersal. Editor: Mark Bush
