Sudbury: HSE Books, 2001. This is an excellent in-depth review of the cognitive effects of solvent exposures. This report explores the evidence base and indicates that approximately 80% of all studies considered did show significant effects of solvent exposure on some aspect of cognitive performance. Half of the studies showed an exposure response relationship.

Occup Environ Med 2002;59:49-57. A well executed study that showed subtle deficits in solvent exposed workers. This important study contributes to the evidence that solvent exposure is, indeed, associated with long term health effects.
