    • Time-resolved fluorescence experiments are discussed in terms of continuous lifetime distributions. The alternative procedure of fitting the experimental time decays by multiexponential functions (discrete analysis) gives similar results. The time-decay parameters obtained by both fitting procedures are reported in the Supporting Information.
